How far is Oktoberfest?
About 600 m – the Theresienwiese is under 10 minutes on foot, and in the evening you simply walk home instead of hunting for a night taxi.
How do I get here from the airport?
Take the S1 or S8 to the main station (approx. 40 min), then walk about 15 minutes via Goethestraße or take the metro to Sendlinger Tor and on to Goetheplatz. Note: Goetheplatz station is being refurbished in 2026/27 – replacement buses run until 18 Sept 2026, service is regular during Oktoberfest, and restrictions return from 5 Oct 2026 (latest: mvg.de).
